Drive4Success After-School Program
What is the Drive4Success After-School Program?:
Once a week for six weeks, First Tee — Triangle, with the help of your student’s school staff, delivers an after-school program designed to build character through the game of golf. Your child will learn basic golf fundamentals such as putting, chipping, target awareness, and distance control, while developing Core Values and Healthy Habits.
All activities will take place at the school and equipment will be provided. No golf experience is necessary! Once the program ends for the day, your child will either be taken to carpool for pick-up or walked to the after-school care program. Times and dates vary by school. Financial aid is available upon request through the registration process in the link above.

In the registration portal, after adding your participant information, select 2021 Drive4Success – Fall under Curriculum and Events. Then choose which class time (Eagle 1 at 9:30 or Eagle 2 at 11:00) that you would like to attend. Call Jeanna with any questions: (919) 838-7202.
Pencils & Putters Scholastic Support Program
In an attempt to expand on how we can continue to support our Drive4Success families, we are initiating a Scholastic Support Program for WCPSS elementary-aged students who are registered for the Virtual Academy during the Spring 2021 semester. Beginning the week of January 25th, students will be able to join us at NC State University Club to participate in their online coursework and our golf and character education programs. We will have staff monitoring their virtual learning schedules, and staff who will provide golf instruction when they are not logged in for class. The program will run five days a week, and families will register for one week at a time. The hours of the program are 8:30am-4:30pm daily, with an option for extended care until 6pm. Families will also have the option to purchase lunch separately from the NC State University Club catering services. The cost of this program is $129/week. Families in need of assistance can pay as low as $49/week. Extended care will cost an additional $10/day, to be paid separately from registration. Registration for the week of January 25th will open at 10am on January 4th. Please email your questions before then to Jeanna@FirstTeeTriangle.org
