What is Peer to Peer Fundraising? It is a fundraising strategy that empowers individuals to raise money on behalf of a cause via online web pages connecting their networks. Our traditional programs kick off on Monday, March 9th not only on the golf course but also online. This year, we are asking our participants to engage in an online fundraiser focused on raising money for First Tee of the Triangle golf course programs.
How Does It Work? First Tee Participants will ask their family and friends to make a donation to First Tee of the Triangle via JustGiving.com. Participants will create their own fundraising page that correlates with the golf facility that they attend class. Their web page will keep track of the donations made directly to them. Please reference the “Directions” page for steps on how to create your own page.
Prizes. There are several funding thresholds that an individual can hit to win a prize. For example, if a participant raises $100 total during the fundraiser, they will win a First Tee of the Triangle hat. Please reference the “Prize Sheet” for additional details.
Not only are there awesome prizes for everyone, there will be one grand prize awarded to the top fundraiser at each facility. Five participants will win the opportunity to be on the green during the trophy presentation at the Rex Hospital Open in May.
Important Information. This fundraiser is now live and will close on April 30th. Participants will receive their prizes in mid-May and the five top fundraisers at each facility will be notified on Monday, May 4th with additional information regarding the Rex Hospital Open.
